NC preparation to participate in government under leadership of Singh

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) has finalized the names of the leaders to join the government.

After a long discussion, NC agreed to finalize the names of leaders for the position of Minister on Monday.  According to NC Leader Ram Hari Khatiwada, a few names are still being discussed among the leaders. The party decided to send the leaders under the leadership of Prakash Man Singh to the government. However the party has not decided on the particular ministries for the leaders,

Singh was showing interest in the Ministry of Defence,  but the Ministry fell under the CPN (UML). NC finalized the name of Ramesh Lekhak for Home Minister, Dr. Arju Deuba Rana for Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ajay Chaurasia for Minster of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs. But, no agreement has been finalized on the names of Deepak Khadka, Ain Bahadur Shahi, Kishore Rathore, and Deepak Giri.

Likewise, Leader Khatiwada said either Khadka or Giri and Rathore of Ain Bahadur Shahi will become ministers.  Even Teju Lal Chaudhary’s name has been included in the list. His Ministry is yet to be finalized. He is interested in Minster of Health and Population.

Apart from Chaudhary, the names of the leaders belonging to the Shekhar-Gagan faction, including Jeevan Pariyar, Pradeep Poudel, Hirdaya Ram Thani, and Ramnath Adhikari, names are yet to be finalized.
