Rabi Lamichhane: How did one remember constitution just after needle of investigation’s knocking on the door?

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has said an agreement was made between CPN (UML) and Nepali Congress (NC) after the beginning of the investigation.

Participating in the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting for a vote of confidence on Friday, Chairperson Lamichhane said those statements. He said, ‘How did one remember the constitution just after the needle of investigation’s knocking on the door?’

Chairperson Lamichhane accused that there was an agreement between major parties in parliament to protect someone rather than protecting the constitution. He raised the question, ‘Neither the country, nor the public, nor parliamentarians of the consensus party know whether the parties agreed to protecting the government or the particular person?’, Lamichhane.

Likewise, he also commented that the ‘National Consensus’, which the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN(UML) agreed upon, debased the national word.
