Prayer meeting organized in memory of late Sita Dahal (Photos)

Kathmandu: A prayer meeting has been organized on the first memorial day of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’’s wife Sita Dahal.

The program was organized at PM’s residence in Baluwatar on Thursday. PM Dahal, along with his family members offered bouquets and garlands, to the late Sita Dahal.

CPN (Maoist Centre) Vice Chairperson and Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Vice Chairperson Agni Sapkota, Pampha Bhushal, and party officials, leaders, and cadres offered tribute.

Likewise, PM’s Secretariat Members, Government Employees, and Civil Society leaders and citizens were present in the program.

PM Dahal released the book “Smriti Ma Sita Dahal” (In Memory of Sita Dahal) in the program. Late Sita Dahal was the party’s Central Advisor, who joined the communist movement in 1971 A.D. (2028 Bikram Sambat) and even participated in the Prachanda-led Civil War from 1995 A.D. (2052 B.S.).
