The 22-year-old Bhim Bahadur Thapa died after his house, in Ward No. 27 of Pokhara Metropolitan City, was buried under a landslide.
According to the District Police Office, Kaski, Bhim’s mother, Kamala Thapa, was rescued. DSP Basanta Kumar said that Bhim’s mother was rescued but her son died.
The landslide buried the house at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday. The police rescued the mother and son at around 7 a.m.
