Kathmandu: The floods and landslides, caused due to incessant rain, have resulted in more than 130 people being stranded in the border areas of Nepal and China.

According to Reuters, the incessant rain, which began on Sunday, resulted in floods and landslides on the highway toward the rural areas of Zhentang, Tibet.

The rescue team displaced around 342 stranded people to the nearby cities. The peripheral areas around Zhentang, which is located 2000 meters above sea level, have reported 130 people still stranded due to the blocked roads, rainfall, long distances, and problems relating to physical strength.
