RSP’s General Secretary Dr Mukul Dhakal dismissed from post

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has dismissed General Secretary Dr Mukul Dhakal from the post.

The Central Committee Meeting on Tuesday took action against General Secretary Dr Dhakal as per the recommendation of the Disciplinary Commission.  The Commission even recommended to dismiss from an ordinary member. But, the Central Committee dismissed Dr Dhakal from General Secretary and Spokesperson.

After the meeting Leader and Acting Spokesperson Manish Jha said to the media, ‘It was decided to take action against accordance by party’s department of discipline for indecent against party interest.’

Jha said that Dr Dhakal  has been given a chance to appeal within 35 days if he is not satisfied with the decision of the party. Earlier, the central committee meeting dismissed Dr Dhakal for 1 week.

Likewise, Dr Dhakal was dismissed for writing a disputed review report after the review journey, being presented against the conduct of the party in the meeting and conducting harmful activities against the party.
