One youth murdered, 2 others injured at Biratnagar

Kathmandu: A youth has been murdered in Biratnagar. Another 2 have been injured at Biratnagar.

The attacker(s) used sharp weapons upon the deceased and the injured ones. They were found in serious condition near Nepal Telecom at Biratnagar Metropolitan City at around 10:00 pm on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Karan Kamat (21 years old), a resident of Jamtoki, Katahari Rural Municipality-1. Bikram Mandal (22) and Aman Raya (17), residents of the same locality, were injured. Their treatment is going on at Nobel Teaching Hospital.

Police said that Kamat was stabbed in the chest and waist. Raya’s condition is serious as he was stabbed in the body parts and back of the shoulder, whereas Mandal sustained an injury in the arm and back.

The search for the attacker(s) is going on. Police are investigating the reason behind the attack.
