CPN (UML) left Bagmati Province Government, NC claims to be Chief Minister

Kathmandu: CPN (UML) has left the Bagamti Province Government.

CPN (UML) left the CPN (Maoist Centre) led government after forming a new equation of power. CPN (UML) Ministers submitted their resignation to Chief Minister Shalikram JamaKattel and withdrew their support to the government.

Likewise, 5 Ministers along with the Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning and also the leader of CPN (UML) Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party,  Jagannath Thapalia reached the office of Chief Minister and submitted their joint resignation.

The government will be formed for the 4th time in Bagmati, after the formation of a new equation of power.  Nepali Congress (NC) has claimed to be the Chief Minister, where the party’s  Parliamentary leader Bahadur Singh Lama is the candidate for the Chief Minister.
