The water level in rivers of the Kathmandu Valley, including Bagmati and Bishnumati, has increased.

Kathmandu: The different parts of the nation have been experiencing heavy rainfall since Friday night.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there will be light to moderate rain in many places of all the provinces this afternoon, with the possibility of heavy rain at a few places in Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

The water level in the rivers, of those areas, has risen. Similarly, the water level in rivers of the Kathmandu Valley, including Bagmati and Bishnumati, has increased. A few banks of the river section have even submerged.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has requested that people, in the peripheral areas of rivers, remain alert.
