Bishwa Prakash Sharma responds to Home Minister Lamichhane’s statement, challenges to open Corruption-related files can be opened

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that no one stopped Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane from opening the files related to corruption.

General Secretary Sharma commented on the issue after Home Minister Lamichhane said that the new power equation was formed after the file related to corruption was opened.

After the completion of the Nepali Congress execution committee meeting, General Secretary Sharma said, ‘It has been heard that they were removed after the files related to corruption were being opened. Still, he is the Home Minister. If the Prime Minister resigns, he will be Home Minister by today evening. If not, then he will be there for one month.’

General Secretary Sharma even challenged to open files and investigate. He said that it was the Nepali Congress, which made the strong law, to control corruption.

NC-CPN(UML) coalition will work without biases to control corruption. He said that the files of the corruption, including the Giri Bandhu Tea Estate case.
