NC to held central work execution committee meeting

Kathmandu: The meeting of the central works execution committee of the Nepali Congress (NC) has been summoned on Wednesday.

According to NC Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the meeting scheduled to take place at the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba at 9:00 am is expected to discuss the latest political developments in the country.

The two largest parties in the Federal Parliament, NC and the CPN (UML), agreed on a power-sharing deal, aiming to form a new government under the leadership of UML Chair KP Sharma Oli on Monday. The agreement has been signed by NC President Deuba and UML Chairperson Oli.

Likewise, both parties have agreed to form a government of national consensus with the agenda of amending the constitution.
