CPN(Unified Socialist) increase Centre Committee number

Kathmandu: CPN(Unified Socialist) will increase the number of Centre Committee to 299.
The meeting of the Party Secretariat decided to increase the number of Centre Committee on Thursday. Previously the Centre Committee number was 199.
Deputy General Secretary Jagannath Khatiwada making the decision public said it was decided to increase the number of officers to 21.
He said it was decided to establish the position of senior vice chairperson while maintaining the position of respected leader.
Likewise, Kahtiwada said 1 woman is compulsory for the Vice Chairperson, and to discontinue the nomination of a central representative. He said that the decision would be passed by convention.
