Kathmandu: The price of gold has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association stated that hallmark gold was traded at Rs 141,200 per tola on Friday and its price was determined at Rs 142,800 on Sunday.

Similarly, worked gold was traded at Rs 140,500 per tola on Friday and its price has been fixed at Rs 142,100 today. The Federation said the price of silver however remains unchanged. Silver was traded at Rs 1,800 per tola on Friday.
