Upendra Yadav in charge of selecting Office bearers and Central Members

Kathmandu: Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal’s election for the selection of office bearers and central committee will not be held at the ongoing convention at Janakpur.

The preparation is underway for the election on Thursday, and the responsibility of the convention has been assigned to the Chairperson Upendra Yadav.

Yadav said that if the election were to be held, an inclusive leadership would not be elected. He unanimously became the Chairperson on Wednesday.

‘If an election takes place, there is a little chance that more than 1 or 2 people from the mountains and hills will be elected because the main base of the party is Terai /Madhesh. In such a situation how can we make the party inclusive so that all castes, languages, religions, and genders are represented?’, said Chairperson Yadav.

Likewise, Yadav said that the main objective was how to make the party inclusive and how to strengthen the party’s structure rather than elections. His proposal was, ‘If you agree, let’s decide all the officials and central members, with the agreement.’
