Death of more than 40 workers, 50 injured in Kuwait’s fire accident

Kathmandu: More than 40 workers have died in a fire at a workers’ residence at Mangaf, Kuwait.

Ministry of Interior said that more than 40 workers working in NBTC Company, died in a fire accident.

Treatment of 50 injured are  going at different hospitals. It has not been revealed from which country the deceased workers belong.  Minister of External Affiars of India, Dr S. Jaishankar said that out of 50 injured, 30 were Indians.

Likewise, it has been predicted that Nepali people also be in fire accident. Nepal Embassy based in Kuwait said they are investigating whether Nepal workers were in a fire accident or not.

Around 160 workers were living in the company. The fire accident occurred at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
