Kathmandu: The cabinet has been expanded in Gandaki Province.
Chief Minister Surendra Raj Kandel, after attaining the vote of confidence on Monday, expanded the cabinet on Tuesday.
Province Chief Dilli Raj Bhatta administered oath of office and secrecy to Nepal Samajwadi Party’s Fanindra Devkota, who won the election from the CPN(Maoist Centre), and Independent Candidate Deepak Mannge (Rajeev Gurung).
The responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Drinking Water has been assigned to Devkota and that of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport to Manage.
Likewise, Devkot gave a vote of confidence to Pandey. Manange has been giving a vote of confidence to all the Chief Ministers, who have been seeking a vote of confidence.
There are 5 Members in the Gandaki Cabinet. Apart from Chief Minister Pandey, Bindu Kumar Thapa, and Dr. Takraj Gruung were the members.
