Chief Minister Pandey attains vote of confidence

Kathmandu: Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey has attained a vote of confidence.

31 majority members voted in favor of Chief Minister Pandey’s proposal to seek a vote of confidence on Monday. There are 60 Members in Gandaki, where it needs the support of 31 Members for the continuation of the government. The Chief Minister got support from the 31 Members.

27 Nepali Congress, 2 Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Nepal Samajwadi Party leader Phahindra Devkota and Independent MP Deepak Manang known as Rajeev Gurung cast their vote to Chief Minister Pandey.

Likewise, 28 votes were cast against Chief Minister Pandey.
