Kathmandu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has formed a 72 Members Cabinet.
PM Modi’s government which is on set to practice coalition government for the first time, has various parties affiliated to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
After PM Modi’s party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) failed to secure a majority he included Telugu Desam Party, Janata Dal (United), Shiv Sena, Lok Janshakti Party, Janata Dal-Secular, Rashtriya Lok Dal, Hindustani Awami Morcha, The Republic of India were included to form the government.
Likewise, some known faces were left out, while some controversial leaders have become Ministers due to the strengthening of the alliance. Expect PM Modi, 30 leaders have taken an oath as Cabinet Ministers. 41 as State Ministers in the NDA coalition government.
There are 72 members in PM Modi’s Cabinet. The number is 25% more than the previous term. It has been analyzed that with the increase in number of the ministers, the challenges of running the government have increased for PM Modi.
