Embassy of India Kathmandu organizes ‘curtain raiser’ program for International Day of Yoga 2024

Kathmandu: The Embassy of India Kathmandu has organized a Yoga demonstration program at the premises of the Pashupatinath Temple.
The Embassy conducted the demonstration to spread awareness regarding Yoga and to mark the upcoming International Day of Yoga. The Embassy coined Friday’s program as a “Curtain Raiser: International Day of Yoga 2024.”
This year’s theme of the Yoga is “Yoga for Women Empowerment.” The Embassy also organized a lecture-cum-demonstration on the health benefits of Yoga for girls and women of Maiti Nepal.
On 21st June, the 10th anniversary of International Yoga Day will be celebrated.
