Doti jeep accident: 2 killed, 7 injured

Kathmandu: Two persons have died in a road mishap in Doti this morning. Seven people were injured in the accident.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Bhim Lal Bhattarai, the deceased have been identified as Dhauli Devi Bhattarai (40 years old) of Lekam rural municipality-4 in Darchula and Ritika Parki (3 years old) of the same ward.

The jeep, carrying nine people including a jeep driver, met with an accident when it was heading towards Dhangadhi from Darchula. Dhauli Devi died on the spot while Ritika undergoing treatment. Those injured in the accident are receiving treatment at local health posts.
