Namibia defeats Oman in Super Over

Kathmandu: Namibia has defeated Oman in the third match of the Men’s T20 World Cup.

Namibia defeated Oman in the Super Over at Bridgetown on Monday morning Nepal Standard Time.

Oman failed to chase the target of 22 runs. Oman scored only 10 runs out of 6 balls.

Namibia batted first in the Super over and scored 21 runs. David Wiese scored 13 and Gerhard Erasmus 8 runs for the team.

Super Over was chosen for the results as the match reached an interesting tie.

In the first innings, Namibia was packed up in 19.4 overs and scored 109 runs.

In the course of chasing the target of 110 runs, Namibia scored 109 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 6 wickets. And it was a tie.

Now, South Africa and Sri Lanka will compete in the fourth match of the World Cup at 8:15 p.m. Nepal Standard Time. Nepal and the Netherlands will compete on Tuesday.
