Gandaki Chief Minister Pandey took oath

Kathmandu: New elected Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey has taken an oath.

Chief Minister Pandey took oath in the ceremony held at Pokhara Auditorium on Wednesday. Along with Pandey 2 Ministers have also taken an oath.  Tankraj Gurung has been given the responsibility of the Finance Ministry.

Likewise, the Ministry of Social Development and Health and the Ministry of Energy to Bindu Kumar Gurung.

Pandey was appointed as Chief  Minister on Wednesday. The Supreme Court annulled the vote of confidence attained by outgoing Chief Minister Khagraj Adhikari and gave the mandate to complete the process of appointing the Chief Minister as per Article 168 (3) of the Constitution within 48 hours on Monday.

According to that, the largest party in the province assembly Nepali  Congress (NC) Parliamentary Party Leader Pandey became Chief Minister.
