Government to promote commercial farming of marijuana

Kathmandu: The government has decided to promote commercial farming of marijuana.
Presenting the Budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2024/25, Finance Minister Barshaman Pun assured of beginning the legal procedures for marijuana farming. Minister Pun claimed the marijuana farming to be done for medication purposes.
He said that it was necessary to commercially grow marijuana for medicine and necessary legal provisions would be managed for it.
