Kathmandu: The names of the members of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee have been decided.
7 member parliamentary inquiry committee is to be formed, after the completion of the mandate on Tuesday. The speaker will announce the formation of the committee in the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting.
Here are the names of Members of Parliament (MPs) in the committee:
Ishwari Devi Neupane –Nepali Congress
Dhruv Bahadur Pradhan- Rastriya Prajatantra Party
Badri Prasad Pandey- Nepali Congress
Leknath Dahal- CPN(Maoist Centre)
Shishir Khanal- Rastriya Swatantra Party
Sarita Bhusal –CPN(UML)
Surya Bahadur Thapa Chhetri- CPN(UML)
Nepali Congress had been demanding to form the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee against the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in a cooperative embezzlement case. They even obstructed the parliament to pressure the formation of the committee.

Likewise, Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (UML), CPN(Maoist Centre) and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leaders at PM’s residence, Baluwatar on 18 May (Jestha 5), formed a task force group to form a parliamentary inquiry committee to finalize its terms of reference.
