NC calls meeting of officials and former party officials

Kathmandu: The major political party Nepali Congress (NC) has called the meeting of the party officials and former officials.

NC Joint Secretary Jeevan Pariyar said President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called the meeting for 1 pm today.

Nepali Congress called the meeting after the discussion, on Monday morning, failed to reach an agreement.

Joint Secretary Pariyar said the meeting will make an opinion regarding the parliamentary inquiry committee. Nepali Congress has been demanding to include the name of the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the mandate of the parliamentary investigation committee, formed for the investigation of cooperatives’ fund embezzlement.
