Kathmandu: The meeting between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba is going on.
PM Dahal went to the residence of President Deuba, in Budhanilkantha, to make the party end the obstruction in the parliament. Deuba is taking rest at his home due to illness.
President Deuba’s Secretariat said that the top leaders of the major political parties were discussing the measures to remove the obstruction in the parliament.
NC has been obstructing the house session and continuing its stance of mentioning the name of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the mandate, being prepared by the parliamentary inquiry committee, to investigate the cooperative’s fund embezzlement case.
The leaders are having a discussion before the beginning of the scheduled house session at 11: 00 am.
