‘Deities of Nepal-II’ gives an ecstatic feel to the visitor when realizing how the vibrant colors have been blended to reflect the culture of Nepali Society.

Kathmandu: The second edition of the ‘Deities of Nepal-II’ is going on in Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal.

Nepal Handicraft Federation and Nepal Art Council organized the exhibition. The ‘Deities of Nepal-II’ comprises of modern, folk, traditional, and contemporary art.

The exhibition aims to inspire visitors to consider diversity and feel a connecction with the works of various artists. More than 235 pieces of art, made by 163 artists, connected with the Hindu and Buddhism are part of the exhibition.

The arts have been successful not only in incorporating works of various artists but also has acted as a bridge between the art and Nepali heritage. The audience can get a euphoric feel while minutely observing the effects of the brush strokes in each piece of art.

‘Deities of Nepal-II’ gives an ecstatic feel to the visitor when realizing how the vibrant colors have been blended to reflect the culture of Nepali Society. Also, it has become more of a platform for cross-cultural exchange, with the inclusion of foreign artists.

All the arts, whether modern, traditional, or contemporary attempt to reflect the origin, basic principles, fundamental elements, and philosophy of Hinduism and Buddhism.

The exhibition, which began on 21st May, will conclude on 10th of June.
