Preparation to agree on TOR before the start of Parliament meeting

Kathmandu: The meeting of a task force to agree on the terms of reference (TOR) of the parliamentary inquiry committee to be formed to investigate the embezzlement of cooperative funds has ended without a conclusion.

The meeting is scheduled to be held on Friday at 7:30 a.m. According to the Nepali Congress (NC) Joint General Minister Jeevan Pariyar, the ruling side was presented with flexibile in the meeting.

‘ We are still in our stance. CPN(UML) and Rastriya Swatantara Party (RSP) brought the draft. But no agreement has been done; said Praiyar. He further added, ‘The ruling side was presented in the flexible in the meeting, they are adamant that before the start of the parliament meeting a consensus should be reached between the parties.’
