Kathmandu: The task force meeting formed to finalize the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the parliamentary committee has been indecisive.

Leaders said that 2nd meeting committee, held on Tuesday, was positive. The committee was formed to finalize the mandate after the parties agreed to form a parliamentary inquiry committee to investigate Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in a cooperative embezzlement case.

Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri said, ‘A discussion went seriously. We feel that it went optimistically. It has been successful. But there is no definite conclusion. We discussed it from different angles and different alternatives.’

He expressed hope that the mandate of the committee would be finalized in the next meeting.
