Kathmandu: The main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has said the ruling coalition emphasized excluding the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Affairs Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the course of investigating the cooperative funds embezzlement case.
Organizing a press meet on Monday, NC Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak said those statements. Answering the queries of the media, Chief Whip Lekhak said,’ That’s right. There might be thousands of other cooperative scammers, but the rest of the 9 hundred and 99 people are not Ministers: Here, it has been emphasized”other than the home minister. It is not acceptable.’
Likewise, NC Whip Lekhak showing a report of Pokhara Metropolitan said, ‘We should not spare anyone, but we demand that Mr. Rabi must be not be spared.’
NC has been continuously demonstrating to form the parliamentary inquiry committee against the alleged involvement of Home Minister Lamichhane in the cooperative’ fund scandal. Also, a task force has been formed to investigate the case.’
