NC’s meeting of Parliamentary Party Working Committee and Parliamentary Party Meeting adjourned

Kathmandu: The main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has adjourned the Parliamentary Party Working Committee and Parliamentary Party Meeting.

The meeting which was scheduled to be held on Monday, adjourned till 14 May (Jestha 1). According to NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s Secretariat, The meeting has been adjourned, as the leaders are busy in an officer’s meeting. The meeting of officers going on at Budhanilkantha.

Member of Parliament (MP) Ram Hari Khatiwada said that the meeting adjourned today, will be held on Tuesday. According to Khatiwada, the meeting of the Parliamentary Party Working Committee will be held at 8:00 a.m., whereas the Party meeting at 9:00 a.m.

Likewise, the meeting will be held at the Parliamentary Party’s Office, Singhadurbar. NC had called today’s meeting to discuss the development in Parliament. NC has been demanding the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee into the involvement of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in  the cooperative embezzlement case.
