Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly Meeting Postponed

Kathmandu: The meeting of the Sudurpaschim provincial assembly has been postponed.

The meeting was postponed, due to reluctance in Chief Minister Dirgha Sodari’s vote of confidence.

Provincial Assembly Secretary Dev Bahadur Bogati informed Nepal Views that the meeting called at 5:00 p.m. on Friday was postponed. It has been called on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

There was a seclude of Chief Minister Sodari to take a vote of confidence. However, CPN (UML) reluctance to give Chief Minister Sodari a vote of confidence, resulted in the meeting being postponed at the request of the government and Speaker.

Sodari was appointed Chief Minister with the support of the CPN (UML). However, the CPN (UML) expressed dissatisfaction with the CPN(Unified Socialist) role in the by-election made the party reluctant to give a vote of confidence to Chief Minster Sodari.

Without the CPN (UML) support Chief Minister Sodari getting a vote of confidence is less.
