Kathmandu: Nepal has lost the third match against West Indies ‘A’.
West Indies ‘A’ defeated Nepal by 76 runs at the T.U. International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. Now, West Indies ‘A’ is leading the series by 2-1.
Nepal failed to chase the target of 228 runs. Nepal was packed up in 19.2 Overs and scored only 151 runs.
Lokesh Bam and Karan KC contributed 28-28 runs for the team. Kushal Malla scored 20, Binod Bhandari 19, and Anil Shah 14 runs for the team.
5 players failed to score double-digit runs. Sagar Dhakal was unbeaten at 3 runs.
Hayden Walsh took 3 and Gudakesh Mote took 2 wickets for West Indies ‘A’.
In the first innings, West Indies ‘A’ scored 227 runs out of 20 overs with a loss of 3 wickets. Johnson Charles scored a splendid century for the team.
Charles was unbeaten at 119 runs. He smashed 13 boundaries and 7 sixes out of 61 balls. Andre Fletcher scored 53 runs for the team.
Karan KC and Sagar Dhakal took 1 wicket each for Nepal.
Dipendra Singh Airee was the captain of the match and regular captain Rohit Kumar Paudel was on rest.
The fourth match of the series is on Thursday.
