Police arrest 3 people in charge attacking former member of JSP Pramod Shah

Kathmandu: Janata Samajwadi Party(JSP) leader and former member of parliament (MP) Pramod Shah has been fatally attacked.

According to Sarlahi’s Police Chief and SP Rabindra Bahadur Singh, a group of drunken youths attacked Shah at Haripur Municipality -6, Sarlahi on Sunday. Along with Shah, his workers Rajendra Mahato, Rabi Paswan, and Nikesh Shah were also injured in the attack.

Shah suffered a severe head injury from the stick and received treatment at Amrit Healthcare in Haripur. Currently, his health condition is normal.

Likewise, SP Singh said that Shah was attacked when he was returning home after watering the maize crop at 12 midnight. Police have arrested Aryan Chaudhary, Siddhant Chaudhary, and  Saroj Majhi of Haripur -6 for involvement in the assault.

SP Singh said that the case has been registered in the attempt to murder.
