NC MP Pudasaini’s proposal to be NA Chairperson rejects in NA meeting

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) Bishnu Devi Pudasaini has failed to be elected as National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairperson.
Pudasaini’s proposal to become Vice Chairperson was rejected after the majority of members voted against her in the NA meeting held on Wednesday. She received votes from the parties, including from the Nepali Congress and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party.
According to NA Chairperson Narayan Dahal, 16 votes were in favor, and 39 were against Pudaisaini. Out of 59 members, 55 were present in the NA meeting.
