3 CPN (Maoist Centre) ministers resign from Koshi Province

Kathmandu: 3 ministers of CPN (Maoist Centre) have resigned from Koshi Province.

The meeting of the parliamentary party, held on Monday, decided to recall its ministers from the government. Based on the decision, 3 ministers have resigned.

Minister for Water, Irrigation and Energy Narayan Burja Magar, Minister for Tourism and Forest and Environment Ganesh Upreti, and Minister for Social Development Rajendra Karki gave their resignation.

According to the ruling coalition, the CPN (Maoist Centre) left the Nepali Congress-led government to prepare for the formation of a provincial government in Koshi.

The parliamentary party leader Indra Bahadur Angbo said that the provincial chief would be informed about the withdrawal of the party from the vote of confidence.
