Kathmandu: More than 1.5million (15 lakh) rupees have been robbed in Siraha.
The robbers showed weapons to rob the amount. The gang, with weapons, robbed 1.5 million (15 lakh) and 50 Thousand rupees.
The incident occurred about 500 meters north of the District Police Office, based on Mahisotha Road. The gang robbed a money transfer based in Bishnupur Rural Munciaplity from Siraha.
According to Police Station, robbers came in a motorbike, with an Indian number plate, and showed weapons to Purushottam Yadav.
Yadav who was coming with money on a motorbike no S9P6310, being robbed his 2 Global IME Bank’s cheque, 3 Rastriya Banijaya Bank’s cheque and mobile phones.
It has been said that looted money belongs to the money transfer being operated by Kusheshwor Yadav resident of Vishnurpur Rural Municiplaity-1. Police said that robbers looted money from him and ran towards Mahisautha.
Siraha’s District Police Station, Information Officer and DSP Muktinath Sapkota said that they were gathering information regarding the incident. The investigation is going on.
