Local Administration extends curfew in Sunsari

Kathmandu: The curfew, imposed to control the situation, after the fight between two groups is still on.

There was a fight between Hindu-Muslim group in Bhutaha, Harinagar, Sunsari on Friday. This effected the peace and security in the southern region of the district.

The acting Chief District Officer (CDO) Devraj Phuyal said the imposed curfew, in 5 local levels, including Inaruwa and Harinagar rural municipality, has been extended.

The local administration said that the security personnels have been deployed in huge number to control the unruly and unwanted activities in the areas, having the possibility of fight.

The acting CDO Phuyal said that the life of the people was becoming normal after the imposition of the curfew. He said the police is investigating the incident.
