Socialist Front meeting decides to include CPN (UML)

Kathmandu: A discussion has been held to include CPN (UML) in the 4-party Socialist Front (Samajwadi Morcha).

The meeting of the Front, at Baluwatar on Friday, discussed about also including CPN (UML) as well.  According to Front’s Coordinator Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, all parties agreed to incorporate the CPN (UML) in the front.

Likewise, Biplav said, the meeting handed over the responsibility of talking with the CPN (UML) to CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, and ruling coalition party leader CPN(Unified Socialist), Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal.

Previously, when there was a ruling coalition the Front was formed under the leadership of the Nepali Congress (NC), incorporating all the parties which believed in the left wing and socialism. NC, CPN (Maoist Centre), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajbadi Party, and Nepal Communist Party were part of the Front.

The Front attempted to incorporate CPN (UML) with the change in coalition.
