Man commits suicide after murdering his wife

Kathmandu: A man has committed suicide, after murdering his wife at Belbari, Morang.

Bam Bahadur Limbu (50 years old), a resident of Belbari -1, murdered his wife Geeta Limbu (45). Limbu even attempted to attack his son, however, his son escaped and saved himself.

According to the Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that Limbu murdered his wife with a sharp weapon, due to a household dispute.

Likewise, Geeta suffered an injury on the head, face, and different parts of the body. She died on the spot. Morang Police Spokesperson and DSP Ranjan Kumar Dahal said that after murdering his wife Limbu slit his neck with a sharp weapon.

Similarly, a neighbor took the injured Limbu to the hospital, but he died during treatment at Nobel Hospital. Limbu’s family has been living in a rented room for 4 years at Belbari.

Limbu had a second marriage after the death of his first wife.
