NSP to dismiss leaders involved in unification process with CPN (Maoists Centre)

Kathmandu: Nepal Samajbadi Party (NSP) has denied to accept unwanted activities inside the party.

NSP Spokesperson Krishna Prasad Sharma said that the 6th Plenary session of the Party, under the Chairmanship of Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, decided to dismiss the leaders involved in those activities.

Spokesperson Sharma said that the party decided to take action against the leader, who went against the party’s method, methodology and discipline, to give adverse expressions against the party’s interests.

Earlier, the Party Leaders including Mahindra Raya Yadav and Ganga Narayan Shrestha decided to unite with the CPN (Maoists Centre).NSP has dismissed the decision. Spokesperson Sharma said that the party would take action against them.

The meeting decided to broke the unification/polarization coordination committee and scheduled the party convention, through direct election system, in Jan-Feb 2025 (Magh 2081).

The meeting transformed the Central Committee of the Party into the Convention Organizing Committee. Dr. Bhattarai is the coordinator of the committee.
