Chairperson Oli: NC must display role of mature opposition

Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chairperson K.P. Sharma Oli has said Nepali Congress (NC) needs to play the role of a mature opposition.

Interacting with the media in Parliament building on Tuesday, Chairperson Oli commented upon the NC’s role. Chairperson Oli accused NC of pouring the pain of leaving the government.

He said that NC should not have shown the furiousness, incitement, provocation, and obstruction of the parliament just after stepping out from the government.

Similarly, Chairperson Oli said that depite the demand of the NC for the Parliamentary Committee it was not possible to fulfill the demand of the NC to investigate the Deputy and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
