Police arrest Prasai’s bodyguard for carrying weapons in Supreme Court premises

Kathmandu: Police have arrested Durga Prasai’s bodyguard at the Supreme Court premises.

Police arrested Prasai’s bodyguard after he was found to have entered the court with a weapon on Monday.  Deepak Khadka is a resident of Buddha Shanti Rural Municipality-3, Jhapa.

Khadka has been working as Prasai’s bodyguard. There was a hearing of a case in the court related to Prasai on Monday. Prasai went to court for attendance along with some bodyguards. Among bodyguards, Khadka was carrying a weapon.

Likewise, further investigation is going on. Prasai, a controversial medical businessperson, is viral on social media for his statements. His guards have been escorting him and his cars in his daily visits.
