Kathmandu: Nepal Samjbadi Party (NSP) has decided to dismiss the unification process with the CPN (Maoist Centre). It has been a long time since both parties have been trying to unify.
NSP decided to dismiss the process after the faction of Mahindra Raya Yadav and other leaders made a different agreement with the CPN (Maoist Centre) for unification. The meeting claimed the leaders spreading the unification rumor for power selfishness.
The central executive meeting of NSP, on Sunday, claimed that Yadav, made a singular decision, along with a few leaders, and tried to spread the illusion. Leaders said that they decided to dismiss the unification process with the CPN (Maoist Centre) as Yadav broke the party’s rule of unity for the power equation.
Leaders said that the Central Committee Meeting of the party on Monday would decide about dismissing the unification process. 35 out of 20 members of the central executive meeting were present in the meeting. 6 members of the central executive meeting were not present in the meeting.
A few leaders of the NSP made a 4-point agreement with the CPN (Maoist Centre) on Saturday.
