CPN(Unified Socialist) Chairperson Nepal: Statement of people’s multi-party democracy losing its relevance is wrong

Kathmandu: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that it was 100% wrong to state people’s multi-party democracy losing its relevance.

Addressing the party’s Bagmati province-level women’s meeting and training program on Friday, Nepal said those statements. ‘Some people have been saying that people’s multi-party democracy lost its relevance. The detractors are gathering, which is 100% wrong. Even it is wrong to say that people’s multi-party democracy has no work,’ said Nepal.

He added, ‘Madan Bhandari put forth the principle of people’s multiparty democracy theory. That created a wave in politics and a communist demonstration. We had written 60 pages about people’s multiparty democracy in the 8th convention. We were even praising even in the 9th convention.’

Likewise, Nepal urged leaders not to indulge in extremism.
