Ministry of Home Affairs arranges vehicles for Loan shark victims to return home

Kathmandu: The loan shark victims have returned home.

The Ministry of Home Affairs arranged vehicles for the victims to return home. The victims were stranded in Kathmandu due to poor financial situation.

The Ministry arranged the vehicle for around 200 loan shark victims, who could not return home back, due to lack of money. Victims made a 4-point agreement with the government on Monday evening.

The victims returned to their homes on Monday and Tuesday night. According to the Spokesperson of the Kishan Majdoor Samiti Neerg Navin, around 200 victims were not able to return, due to lack of money.

Nepal Police with the collaboration of Traffic Police arranged vehicles for the victims, after the direction from the Ministry of Home. According to Deputy PM and Home Minister Rabi Lamichchane’s Secretariat member Pramod Neupane, victims from east and west were sent in 6 vehicles.

The loan shark victims ended their demonstration after 42 days. As per the agreement, a new commission is being formed to examine the problem of the victims. The commission has been  given the right to cancel ‘Tamsuk’
