Kathmandu: CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda.”
A meeting took place between PM Dahal, CPN (UML), and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal on Tuesday. Chairperson Nepal agreed to give a vote of confidence to PM Dahal in the meeting.
PM Dahal’s Secretariat Member Manhari Timilsina said that Chairperson Nepal agreed to give a vote of confidence after the meeting came up with an agreement to incorporate all the demands of the 5 parties, including that of CPN (Unified Socialist), and even sign an agreement.
After the agreement, Chairperson Nepal announced to cast a vote in favor of the National Assembly Chairperson candidate Narayan Dahal. Chairperson Nepal issued a vocal whip to cast a vote in favor of Dahal.
Earlier, Unified Socialists had been commenting about the assisting Prime Minister and National Assembly Chairperson not being important.
