RPP’s Mohan Shrestha beaten up after calling Vikram Pandey ‘corrupt’

Kathmandu: It has been revealed that the person who was beaten up in the RPP office, was the party’s performance committee member Thakur Mohan Shrestha.

The meeting of the performance committee was held on Sunday, where Shrestha delivering an opinion in the meeting called former minister Bikram Pandey as corrupted.

After the meeting, the supporters of Pandey began to beat Shrestha. He was beaten up because of the word corrupt used in the meeting.

Spokesperson Mohan Kumar Shrestha informed Nepal Views, ‘Our party’s performance committee member Thakur Mohan has been beaten up. He used some words in the meeting, due to which he was beaten up.’

Shrestha further said that the party would take action against those who were involved in the incident. He said, ‘Now we are examining the CCTV footage. The party will take action based on the footage.’
