CPN (Unified Socialist) meeting begins to decide whether to join coalition or not

Kathmandu: The meeting of the CPN (Unified Socialist), to choose among the proposals of the CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Centre), and Nepali Congress (NC), has begun.

The meeting has begun in the party central office, Aaloknagar. The meeting will discuss whether to participate in the coalition or not.

On the one hand, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (UML) Chairperson K.P. Sharma Oli proposed that CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal participate in the new coalition. On the other hand, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba met with Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal not to make a hasty decision to join the coalition.

CPN (Unified Socialist) leader Jhalnath Khanal met with PM Dahal in Baluwatar before the beginning of the Secretariat meeting. The leaders of the party said that they would minutely study both the proposals.
