Nepal lost match against Namibia

Kathmandu: Nepal has lost the match against Namibia in the Tri-Nation T20I series. Nepal lost the first match against Namibia by 20 runs in T.U. International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Nepal failed to chase the target of 207 runs. Nepal scored 186 runs in 18.5 overs.

Dipendra Singh Airee scored 48 and Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel scored 42 runs for Nepal. Kushal Malla scored 32, Sompal Kami 26, and Gulsan Jha 12 runs for the team. Bibek Yadav and Aasif Sheikh scored 6 wickets. Sundeep Jora scored 5 runs for the team. Karan KC was unbeaten at 2 runs and Abinash Bohora was out in zero. Kushal Bhurtel got backed to the pavilion in the first ball.

Ruben Trumpelmann took 4 wickets for Namibia. Bernard Scholtz, Jan Frylinck, and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton took 2 wickets each.

In the first innings, Namibia scored 206 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 4 wickets. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton scored 101 runs for the team. Malan Kruger was unbeaten at 59 runs. Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel took 2, and Abinash Bohara and Karan KC took 1 wicket each for Nepal.
